Discover Our Trail Mixes

Updated: Jun 4, 2022

Each one of our delectable trail mixes is named after famous hiking trails found right here on Vancouver Island. From freshly harvested nuts and seeds, to freeze-dried berries, to our vegan chocolate clusters, this post will help you to discover what makes them all so utterly delicious!

Juan de Fuca Trail Mix:

Named after the iconic marine trail spanning 47 kilometres along the west coast of Vancouver Island, our Juan De Fuca Trail Mix is just as amazing. We based this trail mix around a decadent blend of organic, dry-roasted brazil nuts, cinnamon roasted almonds, and lightly salted pistachios, before tossing in some unsweetened tart cherries and espresso-infused vegan dark chocolate clusters. Some might say it tastes just like 47 kilometres of untamed wilderness on a sunny day with a slight breeze. Simply the best!

Mt. Washington Trail Mix:

If you thought the view from the top of Mt. Washington on Vancouver Island was breathtaking, just wait until you eat our trail mix next time you reach the peak.

It all begins with a careful selection of organic, dry-roasted macadamias, cashews, and pecans. Then comes the flavour-filled addition of freeze-dried strawberries and raspberries from certified organic Vancouver Island farms. And if that wasn’t enough, we took our signature granola recipe and turned it into crunchy clusters with organic, vegan white chocolate just to add a hint of creaminess to an already delicious mix worth climbing a mountain for!

West Coast Trail Mix:

The West Coast trail is a world-renowned hiking trail along the west coast of Vancouver Island. It is considered a bucket-list hiking trail by those who live to hike. With that in mind, we knew we had to create an epic trail mix which would only compliment this beautiful trail.

Our West Coast Trail Mix is our only savoury trail mix to date. It is centered around a delightful blend of organic, ‘cheesy’ (nutritional yeast-coated) roasted cashews, tamari almonds, and salted pistachios. We further increased its flavor and nutritional content by adding small strips of toasted nori and our unique sesame tahini flavoured granola clusters. We truly feel as if there is nothing else quite like it, much like Vancouver Island’s West Coast trail. Enjoy!

Vancouver Island Trail Mix:

The Vancouver Island Trail is nearly complete (as of 2022) and stretches from one tip of Vancouver Island to another at a whopping 800 kilometers long. But luckily for you, if you don’t have the time to complete it, you can at the very least make time to taste it through our Vancouver Island Trail Mix.

This is our best-selling trail mix and it’s not hard to tell why. The epicness begins with an organic medley of freshly harvested, dry-roasted almonds, walnuts, and cashews. We then took some flavour cues from our Peanut Butter Granola and added a generous handful of organic, freeze-dried bananas alongside our signature vegan milk chocolate granola cluster made with peanut butter. To top it all off, we sprinkled in a healthy dose of organic, toasted coconut ribbons which taste like heaven on earth, which to us, is what Vancouver Island is all about.
