At VIO, we believe that the key to creating a thriving local economy is to support our community and businesses to the best of our abilities. As such, we have decided to highlight and promote the local businesses which have helped us to become the company we are today. The Moss Street Farmers Market, located at Sir James Douglas school in Victoria, BC, is home to many local farmers, artisans, crafters, and food vendors, including Vancouver Island's Own. The market runs every Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm, May through to October. Don't miss it!
Longview Farms is one of Vancouver Island's largest, organically certified fruit and vegetable farms. They produce everything from plant starts to hay, and, of course, the organic strawberries found in our Mt.Washington Trail Mix.
Kildara Farms is a certified organic farm located in North Saanich, BC. The fresh variety of apples found in our our Spiced Apple Pie Granola are grown in the fertile soil of this beautiful, family-run farm.
Ruby Red Farms produces over 11,800 blueberry bushes in the Duke and Reka varieties. This family-run farm was founded by both Ruby Commandeur and Ivan Mishchenko. Ruby Red Farms is a certified organic grower and their freshly harvested blueberries can be found in our Blueberry Maple Pecan Granola.
