Peanut Butter Banana:
Our Peanut Butter Banana Granola should be a staple in any kitchen. We took an oat-hearty granola, tossed it with chopped peanuts and almonds, drenched it in peanut butter, and added freeze-dried bananas after baking to add a flavour-packed crunch. The end result is a delectable masterpiece based on a classic flavour combo we all know and love, and is one of our best-selling granolas to date!
Blueberry Maple Pecan:
For our Blueberry Maple Pecan Granola, we decided to create a unique mixture of oats, puffed rice, pumpkin seeds, and hemp hearts as our base. We wanted to make this one a journey for the tastebuds by adding in a dash of vanilla and a good dose of cardamom, alongside chopped pecans and a bit of extra maple syrup to ensure that delicious maple flavour shines through. We then took local freeze-dried blueberries and tossed them into the mix for a granola to remember.
Chocolate Hazelnut Raspberry:
We wanted to make an aesthetically pleasing and mouth-watering granola recipe with some healthy chocolate in the mix, and so our Chocolate Hazelnut Raspberry Granola was born. This granola takes our classic oat and puffed rice combination, adds chopped hazelnuts and sunflower seeds, and divides it in two. One half stays oat-colored as it gets coated in coconut oil and maple syrup. The other half gets tossed with raw cacao powder and just a hint of freshly ground espresso powder to create a chocolatey two-toned mixture. We then threw in some locally grown, organic freeze-dried raspberries to top it all off with a crunch of deliciousness. In short, it’s pretty spectacular.
Spiced Apple Pie:
This is one of our more popular granolas and for good reason! It’s like a home-made apple pie in granola form… but better. What makes it so good? A comforting blend of our signature granola, with chopped almonds and pecans, and the same warming spices you would find in an apple pie. But what really brings it home is the neatly cubed variety of organic apples, grown right here on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. It may just be your new favourite comfort food!
What is the best way to enjoy our granolas?
We love our granolas so much, sometimes we eat them straight out of the jar! For a more well-rounded snack, try topping your morning oatmeal with a handful of granola, or eating it as a cereal with milk (or plant-based mylk) of your choice! We used to wait around for summer to enjoy a bowl of yogurt and granola with fresh fruit on top, but with our freeze-dried fruit combinations, you can enjoy these luxuries year round! You can amp up your dessert game by topping a bowl of ice cream with a hearty serving of granola, or mixing a handful into your chia pudding. You can even soften some seasonal fruits on the stove, let them cool, toss some granola on top, and have an almost instant fruit crumble! No matter which way you choose to go about eating your granola, you can't go wrong with Vancouver Island's Own unique and delicious mixes. Get creative, and enjoy!
